Forgive me for the month-long break from blogging, please. After the presale, there was the actual holiday season and the Davis Art Center Holiday Sale. I was busier than I have ever been this year.
So, here is the presale, for those of you who missed it and wish to see a bit of the scene. It was the first time I have opened my studio like this and it was both amazing and overwhelming to have people from all areas of my life come over all at once and enjoy the art space.
I am so thankful for the turnout of neighbors and friends that came over for the first time. The weather was terrible that week and the sale fell during a few hours of reprieve. Divine intervention? I can't say, but it was divine. One of the trees was glowing with pleasure.

When it was all said and done, I had a good week to create some new pieces to "fill in the gaps" at the Davis Art Center Holiday Sale. I will definitely consider having an open studio sometime in 2011. It was too much fun!
