vintage wallflower

It has happened to all of us. Sometimes you just know the instant you walk in the door that you have shown up to the wrong party. Maybe it is the music, maybe it is the dancing, but it is definitely not the curtains. You step to the side of the room and fade into the wall... wondering when you can make a safe getaway.

This handbag is made entirely out of "new" curtain fabric from the 1960's. Absolutely divine in all ways, neither the outer or inner fabric will be seen on anyone else's handbag, which saves you the inconvenience of having to scratch their eyes out.

The inner fabric is that lovely rusty orange of the day, a linen with little woven squares. Four pockets, key fob, and magnetic clasp.

If you should find yourself in an awkward position, I figure just hold this baby up in front of your face and slooooowly back out the door. The camouflage should buy you a good 15 seconds.

I totally promise that I didn't make the lining out of this guy's shorts. Available at the shop!
